Pirates of the Caribbean is a series of movies based on the Disney theme park ride of the same name. The films follow the adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow, played by Johnny Depp, and his crew. The first movie was released in 2003 and was a box office success. A sequel, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest was released in 2006 and broke records for opening weekend grosses. The third movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End was released in 2007. In 2011, a fourth movie entitled Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides was released. A fifth film has been announced for release in 2017."
The Pirates Of The Carribean movies are all excellent! They are filled with action, adventure, comedy and romance making them perfect for everyone to watch! My personal favorite is Dead Man's Chest because it contains my favorite scene from any POTC movie which is when Jack Sparrow fights Davy Jones on board his ship using only swords that are stuck into barrels floating around him!"
