Wrong Turn is an American horror film series created by Alan B. McElroy. The series consists of seven films, six sharing the same continuity and one reboot film.
The first Wrong Turn was released in 2003, and tells the story of a group of five friends who are on their way to a music festival in West Virginia when they take a wrong turn and end up stranded in the woods near a remote cabin inhabited by three cannibalistic mountain men.
The second film, Wrong Turn 2: Dead End, was released in 2007 and follows a group of reality TV contestants who are participating in Survivor-style challenges in the wilderness; they too take a wrong turn and find themselves being hunted down by the cannibals from the first movie.
Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead was released direct-to-DVD on October 20, 2009. It is set shortly after the events of Wrong Turn 2: Dead End, with one character being taken captive by three deformed cannibals known as "the Hillbilly Clan".
Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings is set prior to any other movie in the series chronologically; it tells how Three Finger (one of main antagonists) became disfigured after he survived an explosion that killed his family. It also introduces Saw Tooth (another main antagonist), who pursues revenge against Three Finger for murdering his brother years ago..
The fifth installment,, WrongTurn 5: Bloodlines was theatrically released on October 18th 2012 In this instalment we see two groups collide at The Creeper's place One wants him dead while The others want him alive but what will happen when these two groups meet?
